Medina Sidonia is located in the heart of the province of Cádiz, on the so-called Bull Route.

The town is surrounded by Los Alcornocales Nature Park. This park covers an area of 170,025 hectares, and is the world's largest cork oak forest. The entire park is made up of a series of low mountain ranges, and is an important centre for ecological, rural and educational tourism.
